Are tungsten rings heavy?
Yes — and intentionally so.
Tungsten has a noticeable weight compared to traditional metals. Many men prefer this because it feels solid and substantial on the hand.
If you want something light and barely there, tungsten may not be for you.
Will it scratch?
Tungsten is highly scratch resistant, especially compared to gold or silver.
However, no material is completely scratch-proof. Extremely abrasive surfaces (like diamond or certain ceramics) can mark it.
For everyday wear, it holds up exceptionally well.
Can tungsten rings bend?
No.
Unlike gold or silver, tungsten does not bend. It is extremely rigid.
Under extreme force (around 800lb of force), it may crack rather than deform — which prevents it from warping permanently out of shape (and you potentially losing a finger).
Are tungsten rings safe in emergencies?
Yes.
In the rare event of severe trauma, tungsten rings can be safely removed by medical professionals using specialized tools. Because tungsten does not bend, it can be cracked and removed when necessary.
Can tungsten be resized?
No.
Due to its hardness, tungsten rings cannot be resized.

What finish options do you offer?

Do you offer engraving?
No. At this time, we do not offer engraving. Harbens bands are designed to stand on their own.
What if I order the wrong size?
We offer size exchanges within 7 days, provided the ring is unworn and in original condition.
Because tungsten cannot be resized, sizing accuracy is important.
How should I care for my ring?
Tungsten requires minimal maintenance.
To clean:
Warm water
Mild soap
Soft cloth
Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners.
